Methodology
Every 24 hours (23:55 UTC) a GitHub Actions cron writes a compact snapshot of every tracked price series todata/price-history/YYYY-MM-DD.json. Files are ≤50KB each so we can keep them indefinitely.
FX comes from CBN + parallel-market feeds (hourly refresh); petrol/gas from NBS monthly bulletins; /how-much bands from Jiji.ng listing medians (weekly refresh); bus fares from GIGM (live) + operator-avg. No interpolation — only days where the underlying feed actually returned data get a snapshot value.
The long-range context panel above pulls Nigerian macro indicators (USD/NGN annual avg, inflation %, GDP per capita, GDP growth %, population, unemployment %) from the World Bank Open Data API covering 15 years. These are annual values — separate from PriceRadar's daily archive but same naira story at a longer horizon.
